Access to the house by wheelchair or for those who have trouble climbing stairs is made very easy by a purpose built lift installed during the restoration. The only area not accessible is the Library, however staff can provide a short video showing the appearance of the room. Fully accessible toilets are available, as well as a hearing loop in the shop.

Step back in time and enjoy an evening of dancing in Horace Walpole's gothic castle at the Strawberry Summer Ball!
Horace Walpole spent many hours enjoying festivities and Lady Waldegrave hosted magnificent balls at Strawberry Hill.
On Friday 28 June, guests will be able to enjoy dancing with The Covent Garden Minuet Company in 18th century dress and modern dancing with The Allbeats. There will also be an opportunity for guests to view the house and garden at twilight.
Tickets for the fundraising event are £35 including prosecco and strawberries. The Committee of Taste Restaurant is now fully booked for the evening. Ticket holders are welcome to picnic in our beautiful gardens. Raffle on the night.
