The gleaming white gothic castle of Strawberry Hill provides a unique setting for entertaining, a stone’s throw from London. Whether you are looking for a venue for corporate entertaining, a private party or conference, Strawberry Hill can offer rooms for almost any occasion and we have a range of packages on offer.

Here our aim is to give some basic information on private room hire at Strawberry Hill and below you will find information on our most popular rooms that are available for hire, though this is not an exhaustive list.

The Gallery

The Gallery is one of the most spectacular rooms on show at Strawberry Hill. With a fan-vaulted ceiling, deep crimson Norwich damask and elaborate networks of mirrors and gilding, the Gallery is an extravagant and luxurious entertaining environment.

The Gallery is a perfect location for a dinner party, however, due to the delicate nature of the room, drinks receptions are not permitted.

The Library

The Strawberry Hill Library is widely regarded as one of the most marvellous features of Strawberry Hill, and its pierced gothic arches, decorative ceiling and chimneypiece are instantly recognisable to many. The Library would provide an ideal setting for a conference or meeting, but could also easily be used for private dining. Again, due to the delicate nature of this historic room, drinks receptions are not permitted.

Round Education Room

Our new Education suite provides state of the art conference rooms in the heart of this historic house. The round education room can accommodate delegates in boardroom, classroom or theatre styles. Standard conferencing facilities such as data projectors, screens and flipcharts are also available if required.

Tea Room

The newly installed Committee of Taste Café in situated in the Great Cloister of Walpole’s historic house. With glass doors giving out on to a paved seating area, the café provides picturesque views of the 18th century restored garden beyond the house.

Further Information

All private entertainment or conferencing bookings will be managed by a member of Strawberry Hill staff, who will also be onsite during your event to ensure its success.
