We are delighted to announce that Strawberry Hill House is now open to visitors. Our team and volunteers have been working incredibly hard to ensure we offer the safest environment and experience for visitors. Booking is essential
Strawberry Hill House was the inspiration for the first ever Gothic novel, The Castle of Otranto, written by Horace Walpole.
In the spirit of Walpole’s original Gothic novel, monthly meetings explore some of the seminal texts of Gothic literature. Meetings are free, but booking is essential as numbers are limited.
