Strawberry Hill House and Garden is the global home of the Gothic, a timeless place to inspire wonder, imagination and creativity through art and design, architecture, literature, collections and landscape, for today and future generations.
Our mission is to maintain, research and interpret Strawberry Hill House and Garden as a global centre for the preservation and appreciation of the Gothic imagination in art, architecture, literature, landscape and collecting.
We share Horace Walpole’s legacy with the widest possible audience, both physically and digitally, enabling creative dialogues, learning opportunities and unforgettable experiences. We actively seek partners and collaborators who share our vision.
The Strawberry Hill Trust will pursue four main strategic priorities (SPs) for the next three years under the umbrella of the charity’s revised Vision and Mission:
• heritage
• research and interpretation
• access and learning
• resilience
Over the next three years we will establish a solid platform for audience engagement and economic sustainability for its next fifteen years of operation as a cultural heritage monument, destination attraction and site of research and learning.
