The following are some Frequently Asked Questions from our visitors:-

When are you open?

We are open Wednesday – Sunday 10am-5pm including Bank Holidays. The last entry to the house is at 4pm. We are open 7 days a week during school holidays. The Garden Café is open 9:30am-5pm Wednesday – Friday and 9:00am-5pm Weekends & Holidays.

How long will my visit take?

The average house visit takes 1-2 hours.

How do I get in touch?

Can I get a refund on my tickets?

Tickets are non–exchangeable, non-transferrable and non–refundable after the point of purchase. However, if you are unable to attend, please do feel free to gift your tickets to a family member or friend.

How does Gift Aid work on tickets?

You can make the value of your visit go further with gift aid. If you are a UK taxpayer and happy to donate 10% on top of your ticket price then Strawberry Hill House will receive 25 pence for every £1 of the total spend, including the donation, from the Inland Revenue. For example, if your ticket costs £10 and if you are happy to donate £1 then Strawberry Hill House will receive an extra £2.75 from HMRC.

Where can I park?

Strawberry Hill House & Gardens has a car park that is free for visitors, you must register in the gift shop upon arrival. Spaces are limited and parking may not be available during particularly busy periods. Spaces cannot be reserved, so public transport is recommended. There are three ‘Blue Badge’ disabled parking spaces. Our postcode is TW1 4ST for satellite navigation systems. Coach parking must be pre-arranged, please contact enquiry@strawberryhillhouse.org.uk.

Is photography allowed?

Photography is permitted inside the house and garden, though flash photography, filming your visit, tripods, and large cameras are not permitted unless you book a private visit, please contact enquiry@strawberryhillhouse.org.uk. We would love you to share your photography, please tag us on Instagram @strawbhillhouse and you could see your work shared on our feed.

Is the house available for filming and photoshoots?

Yes, Strawberry Hill House is available for hire to both filming and photography crews. We are happy to be partnering with FilmFixer on all commercial filming and photography enquiries. Please email enquiries to: strawberryhillhouse@filmfixer.co.uk

Are you available to hire for weddings?

Yes you can hire the house for your wedding or civil ceremony. Please email enquiries to: conferences@stmarys.ac.uk
