An group guided tour is one of the most engaging ways to appreciate Horace Walpole’s Gothic masterpiece. These tours can either be exclusive (outside of opening hours), or if more convenient, during opening hours, and are for a minimum of 15 people.

Sunday House Tours

For smaller groups or individuals, throughout the year on the last Sunday of every month you can enjoy a guided tour of Horace Walpole’s architectural masterpiece exploring the history, interiors and stories of its residents.

Landscape Tour-Strawberry Hill & Pope’s Grotto

Our Guided Landscape Tour explores the historic Strawberry Hill Garden, highlighting its role in the evolution of the more naturalistic landscape garden in England and its significance within the Thames Arcadian landscape. The tour then continues to Pope’s Grotto, accessible to visitors only on select days each year, where we examine remnants of the water features described by Pope and 18th-century visitors.
